Today is Hangeul day, and in celebration, Google has provided a link to an online exhibition titled “Hangeul: Voices of Diversity,” credit line given to the Academy of Korean Studies.
And in fact, this one of the many projects that I have been deeply involved in as overseeing various works related to the so-called “globalization” project of the Jangseogak.
The online exhibition is based on a translated work from 2019. All in all, it was a collaborated effort among our Jangseogak staff who prepared the introductions in Korean (previously published as a exhibition catalog) , translators and editors (Professor Vincenza D’Urso and Sam Vermeersch) and our copy editors (Keiran Macrae and Benjamin A. Engel). The book is available here.
